Dr. Randolph Lopez is a distinguished medical professional who began his journey at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He further honed his surgical skills during his tenure as the chief resident in general surgery at both Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. His dedication and prowess in the field were recognized with the esteemed Cyril Arvanitis Award in Surgery. Pursuing specialization, Dr. Lopez undertook a fellowship in hand surgery at the Oklahoma University Medical Center and the INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center, both located in Oklahoma City.
With a vast experience spanning thousands of procedures, Dr. Lopez is renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive techniques. His skills have not only benefitted patients but have also been showcased to fellow professionals. He has journeyed across the U.S. and ventured internationally to demonstrate these advanced techniques. Notably, as a member of an elite group of American extremity surgeons, he visited the Hospital General de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, and the Jornadas de Cirugía Endoscópica del Pie y las Manos y Neuropatía Diabética. Here, he collaborated with European surgeons, sharing insights into minimally invasive upper extremity surgical procedures.
Dr. Lopez’s contributions to the medical community extend to academic publications as well. His research and findings have been featured in esteemed journals like the Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) and the Journal of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, further cementing his reputation in the field.
